GETTING STARTED IS THE HARDEST PART
Getting started is the hardest part of any journey. It truly is. It’s like when we are trying to write an essay and we see the cursor in that word doc blinking at us waiting for us to start…but where do we begin? How can we get it just right on line one? It’s also hard because we get comfortable in our everyday lives and routines. And we wait to for that spark, that motivation, that push…and it never seems to come. The problem is, we have our emotions dictate our actions or lack thereof instead of just doing the damn thing(s) and grabbing up the positive energy with everything we tick off our to-do lists. We are never going to feel like doing the laundry, putting the dishes away or even calling that friend. BUT if we just DO without thinking about how we feel in the moment, it conditions us to JUST DO INSTEAD OF THINK AND “DO LATER”. I like to keep these short and sweet…morale of the story is don’t wait, just do…and so what if it’s hard, it’s harder to keep resisting then following through.
